Newest first. We add a Vision only when Square Enix's channel uploads its trailer, and we use the upload date. We have not played the full game, so this list does not cover abilities or a Vision's strength.

Square Enix calls Visions "a more accessible and evolved take on the familiar job system". You equip one, win battles and learn its abilities. A Vision also determines your Resonance, the special move you can unleash after a Sweeping Stagger. Learned abilities can stay equipped after you switch Visions, within the ability cost limit. Is Noctis in Final Fantasy Resonance?

Yes, as a Vision. Square Enix's official channel posted a Noctis Vision trailer on 14 August 2026.

Is Cloud in Final Fantasy Resonance?

Yes, as a Vision. Square Enix posted a Cloud Vision trailer on 10 August 2026, and its press release names Cloud, Tidus and the Warrior of Light among the returning characters.

How many Visions are there in Final Fantasy Resonance?

Square Enix has not said. It has shown 16 in official Vision trailers as of 30 September 2026. We list only the Visions Square Enix has revealed in its own trailers.

Is Sephiroth a Vision?

Square Enix has not said whether Sephiroth is a Vision. It revealed him on 3 September 2026 as a character you can find and challenge for a special reward, and its channel has no Sephiroth Vision trailer.

How do you get Visions?

Square Enix says you obtain Visions by completing events involving characters you meet in the story, and that the Visions of legacy heroes are found at vision crystal sanctums around the world. Each trailer description says you resonate with the Vision "within the Sanctum of Light".
