Square Enix has not announced an unlock time, so the store timestamps are listings, not confirmed unlock times. The Steam figure is the required free space listed in Steam's requirements, so the actual download may be smaller. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S full-game sizes are not published yet.
The demo on each platform
Square Enix released the free demo on 3 September 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, Switch, Steam and Xbox on PC. It covers the opening and all of Chapter 1, and its save data carries over to the full game. The demo guide explains the save-transfer rules.
Steam Deck and Steam Machine
Valve rates it Steam Deck Verified and Steam Machine Verified. The system requirements page has Valve's notes and the PC specs.
Physical copies
The Square Enix Store sells physical Standard Editions for PS5, Switch 2 and Switch, and lists none for Xbox or PC. See the editions guide for the Amazon pre-order links and the Collector's Edition.

Is Final Fantasy Resonance on PS5?
Yes. Square Enix lists PlayStation 5 among the launch platforms for 22 October 2026. The US price is $49.99, and a physical edition is sold through the Square Enix Store.
Is Final Fantasy Resonance on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2?
Yes, on both. They are separate listings on the Nintendo eShop, each $49.99 in the US. The eShop lists about 12.7 GB for Switch 2 and 8.8 GB for Switch.
Is Final Fantasy Resonance on Xbox or Game Pass?
It is on Xbox Series X|S and on PC through the Xbox app. No Game Pass release has been announced.
