Three editions, starting at US$49.99
The Standard Edition ($49.99) is the base game. The Digital Deluxe Edition ($59.99) adds the Magitek & Grimoire Deluxe Pack. The Collector's Edition ($209.99, Square Enix Store only) includes a physical copy, a Deluxe upgrade code and the Collector's goods box. Pre-ordering any edition gives you the pre-order bonus.

Prices by store and country
In the UK, Australia and New Zealand, the game is cheaper on Steam than on the PlayStation or Xbox stores: £10 less in the UK, A$10 less in Australia and NZ$25 less in New Zealand for the Standard Edition. In the US, Standard and Digital Deluxe prices match across Steam, PlayStation and Xbox.

What the Magitek & Grimoire Deluxe Pack contains
This pack comes with the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Collector's Edition. Square Enix notes the pack is also sold on its own, so make sure you do not buy it twice.

- Archwitch's Grimoire x1 (unlocks one character's Fel Meteor Limit Burst; only in this pack)

How to claim bonus items
After you reach a certain point in the story, you can collect the items from the postbox in front of the inn in the Town of Mitra. To give your airship or chocobo its Magitek appearance, go to Items in the main menu and set the Magitek Airship Passkey or the Magitek Armor Key to "ON".
Collector's Edition
$209.99 in the US, sold only on the Square Enix Store for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch or PS5. It contains:
- Physical Standard Edition for your chosen platform (shipped alongside the goods box, not inside it)
- Digital Deluxe Upgrade Code (sent by email)
- Acrylic block set: pixel-art characters, logos, summons and bosses
- Pixel-art book: hardcover, 120 pages
- Original Soundtrack: 4 CDs, 120 tracks
- Final Fantasy Trading Card Game promo card (Dark Fina, PR-233/8-042L)
The goods box measures 517 × 88 × 440 mm and weighs 2.32 kg. It is also sold on its own, without the game, for $150.00, and the soundtrack will be sold separately later.
Is there a physical edition?
Yes, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and PS5: the Square Enix Store sells the physical Standard Edition for those three platforms at $49.99. It lists no physical Xbox or PC version, and we have not found one on Square Enix's own pages.
